China Sugar Output Seen Falling Amid Dryness, Green Pool Says

(Bloomberg) -- Production in yr ending Sept. 30 will drop
to 10.6m mt from 13.32m t yr earlier, says Grace Johnson,
analyst with Brisbane, Australia-based Green Pool Commodity
Specialists Pty.
* The “weather condition hasn’t been favorable for cane crop
in major cane-area Guangxi, which contributed to lower
yield,” she says Thursday in e-mailed responses to
questions from Bloomberg
* “Farmers put less effort in maintaining crop due to lower
cane prices”
* For 2015-16 season starting Oct. 1, output seen 10.5m t
* China stockpiles seen 9.12m t by Sept. 30 vs 9.19m yr
earlier
